In Loving Memory of Bernice Muir

1948 -2025

Bernice Muir sadly passed away on February 19, 2025, after a brief illness. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 1st April 2025, 11:00am at Coral Ridge Crematorium, followed by cremation.

Bernice had a deep love for Barbados, a place she visited for many years and where she formed lasting friendships. A dedicated accountant, Bernice worked alongside her late husband Paul. Beyond her profession, she was a true friend to many—always ready to help those in need, offer kindness without hesitation. She had a special place in her heart for animals, who brought her endless joy.

A celebration of her life will be announced for those who live in Canada who wish to honor her memory and share their stories.

Bernice, we will miss you deeply, You will always have a space in our hearts.

Even in the short time we got to know Bernice it was always a pleasure being in her company. We met her when she stayed a few times at our close knit family community of Freshwater Bay. She fitted right in. When Brighton became her home she didn’t forget us and would come over and visit bringing dog treats for our dogs. We looked forward to her cheerful company and shared a good few laughs with her. Barbados will miss her. May God welcome you Bernice and rest in peace.
