BEVERLEY FAY MAPP, affectionately known as Cherry, of Edgecliff Gardens, St. John, and born in Jamaica, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 80 years. Retired mid-wife and Public Health Nurse.
Daughter of the late Sylvia Lyle (USA) and the late David Anderson (Jamaica).
Widow of Major Carroll Mapp.
Mother of Caroline, Cheryl and Christopher Mapp.
Grandmother of Cailin Mapp.
Sister of Rudolph, Jeanette, Dudley, Paul and Myrna (all of the USA).
Aunt of Carleen, Sophie, Raquel, Bridgette, Lisa, Andrew, Stacy-Ann, Gregory, Jasmine and Porshia and Shane and Carlisle Paul.
Sister-in-law of Lisle Mapp, Cynthia Paul, Cindy Heron and Diane Wilson.
Cherished Friend of Blossom Layne, Doreen Brathwaite, Mardio Cooke, Olwyn Clarke, Clover Barker, Dr. Lorna Todd, Beverley Arthur, Pauline Russell-Browne, June Watson and many more.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Mount Tabor Moravian Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service and interment. The body of the late Beverley Fay Mapp will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
