"Youth ... is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips ... it is a matter of will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life ..." - S. Ullman "Youth"
Auntie Brenda embodied the principles of youth - rosy cheeks and red lips included to accentuate the most beautiful smile. I would say to her often: "Auntie Brenda we would have been friends !" as I listened to her recollect some part of her life's journey mainly to provide perspective regarding a query or statement I might have made which often culminated in wild laughter or smiles. Our quality time lasted for hours because I thoroughly enjoyed her youthfulness and her friendship. Thank you Shamelle and Krystle for sharing her love with your friends. I love and sorely miss you Auntie Brenda.I will always remember You(th) 🙂
