REVEREND CAMERON BENTHAM, JP, affectionately known as “Pastor B” of 2nd Avenue, Lower Newbury, St George entered into rest on September 30, 2022. Retired minister of the Church of Nazarene.
Son of the late Clifford and Catherine Bentham.
Husband of Rev. Sheila Bentham.
Father of Annette, Joel and Paul Bentham and Joy Rouse.
Grandfather of Sherise Rouse, Jehron, Kaira-Joy, Jade, Kegan and Jada Bentham.
Great-Grandfather of Joanna Fofana.
Brother of Josiealene Eastmond, Lionel, Jackie, Collin and the late Gilbert Bentham.
Uncle of Neville, Cheryl, Sandra and Jeremy Bentham, Alicia Bentham-Williams and Ashlee Bentham (both of USA).
Relative of the Murray, Weekes, Holder and Eastmond families.
Friend of Majorie Greenidge, the late Rev. Clyde Greenidge, Coleridge Sinckler, and the Newbury Community.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Church of the Nazarene, Collymore Rock, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Reverend Cameron Bentham will repose at the Church of the Nazarene, Newbury, St. George on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
