Dear Grace, Andrew and David,
It is with great sadness that we learned of your loss.
Charlie was such a wonderful man with a special sense of humour that I enjoyed each time we met. Indeed there will be many who will miss him besides your family.
In deepest sympathy,
Sincerely, Jon and Maggie

On behalf of the Staff and Students of Harrison College I extend most sincere condolences to our Chairman Mr. Andrew Pilgrim Q.C. and to the other members of Mr. Pilgrim's family.
This is also a personal one for me as Mr. Charles Pilgrim was the Deputy Principal when I entered Combermere in sixth form. His interaction with us was amazing. He felt like more of a friend and father to us. It was just one of the reasons why we felt at home so quickly.
I saw him again as an adult on a number of occasions and he was much the same. Thank you for sharing him with us. I believe that God will give you the strength to get through this.
Charlie's flame will continue to burn in our hearts. Up and on! Up and on!

A gracious and generous man, his memory is a blessing.
I spent a lovely evening with them in February 2020 before I flew back to Toronto.

Dear Family,

I am honoured to celebrate the great Charlie Pilgrim! He was loved and will always be remembered!

Combermere was blessed to have Charlie as a headmaster, teacher, friend, counselor, comrade and a genuine, awesome, sincere leader!

As a Combermerian, I can truly say that Charlie was in a league of his own. I am grateful to have accomplished the foundation of my academics under his leadership and to know him as a teacher.

What a Man!

Thank you, Grace, for searching your husband with us! May God bless you and your family and give you peace. As the tears flow, just remember the joyous moment that Charlie gave to you. You are loved! Up and On!
