Our sincere condolences to Denton, Betty, Etwyn, Dorothy and family on Colene's passing. Colene was a faithful Christian, devoted wife, friend and principled, strong woman. She protrayed a sense of peaceful calm and care to all who knew her. My sister Jeanette and i worked for many years with Colene in New York for the Barbados Government. We shared many great memories there and are deeply saddened by her passing. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. May she rest in eternal peace and rise in glory. - Collean Speede-Mottley (Canada), Jeanette Speede (USA)

My deepest condolences and love to Denton, The Clarkes, Knight, & Hope families. Auntie Colene (Bishop) I always called her has been in my life since I was 11 years old, I haven’t been able to process that she is gone and that I won’t be able to pick up the phone and call her when I need to talk, but sometimes I learned from her talk to Jesus when life gets hard.. She was the godmother of my daughter Sheniqua and she loved her like she was her own. She was a true woman of God, an encourager, and what and organizer, whatever she put her hands too do was done with excellence. Auntie Colene was loving and kind, but she had a strict side when you needed correction and sometimes I needed correcting (lol). She and I shared the love for the color green and sometimes when I went to pick her up for church she would come down the driveway in something green and I would be in the car in my green also and we would laugh. Auntie Colene was a woman of faith and love and I’m gonna miss her and I’m thankful to God for putting her in my life and for all the life lessons that I have learned from her over the years, it has shaped me into the woman I am today. Rest well “Bishop” in the loving arms of your Savior until we meet again.
Love, Gail

On behalf of the West children, sending love, condolences and prayers to Denton, her siblings, family and friends for your peace and comfort during your time of grief. We go way back to when my dad Rev Colin West took on the responsibility of pastoring the Carrington's Wesleyan Holiness Church in Barbados and we have over those years maintained a lasting relationship with lots of love. May God continue to keep you all in HIS care during this hour of sadness.

My sincere condolences to her husband and entire family.
Sis. Colene has always been a source of encouragement to me like she has been to others. She was not perfect but close to being that especially when organizing an event and you can bet that all the parties involved will be briefed in a timely manner. She will be missed no doubt it but she will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Coco is the name that I affectionately called her, was more than a church member to me; she was a beloved sister, mentor, encourager, and friend. Her grace, wisdom, strength, and love for God and His church left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
I will forever cherish the memories we shared and the many ways she poured into the life of Community Worship Center. Her presence, her laughter, her counsel, and her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed.
May God comfort Denton, her family, and her dear friends, strengthen every heart, and surround them all with His peace during this difficult time. Coco’s legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in all of us.
With love and heartfelt sympathy,
