LEACOCKโ€“ DARNLEY DaCOSTA, aged 89, of Wanstead Gardens, St. James, entered into rest on December 04, 2021. Member of the St George Parish Church Menโ€™s Fellowship, St Georgeโ€™s Old Boys & Girls Scholar, the Barbados Overseas Resettlement Association (BORA) and the Starlight Ballroom Dancers. He was also a former Senior Games Athlete. Beloved Husband of 58 years to Vernese Isnez Leacock. Cherished Father of Ivan, Mamzelle, Marcelle and Dudley. Devoted Grandfather of Louise, Emma, Ann-Marie, Spencer, Claire, Rachel, Zara, Sebastian, Luke and Georgia. Great-grandfather of Jordan, James, Jasmine, Bobby and Summer. Faithful Brother of Cynthia, the late Dennis, Frank, Rita, Evelyn, Cynthia, Norma, Lolita and Cecily and much-loved uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, colleague and friend of many. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The body of the late Darnley DaCosta Leacock will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.

I am so sorry for your lost, please remember that God cares very much for you, and he promised at Revelation 21.3, 4 โ€œHe will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.โ€
