David “Deidrianna” Hinkson, affectionately known as David Tannis and Dallas, aged 51, of Woodbine Avenue, East York, Toronto Ontario, Canada, quietly passed away on September 04, 2023, at Michael Gannon Hospital, Toronto Ontario, Canada. Late of Forde’s Road, Clapham Christ Church and Brathwaite Gap, Dayrells Road, Christ Church St. Michael.
Lifelong Partner of Julian Tannis. Son of Ethelbert and the late Husanna Hinkson. Beloved brother of Delores Matthews, Oretty Jordan (Canada), Lorna Ali and Jameson Hinkson, Mary Maloney, Sheila Charles (USA) and the late Pius Jn Charles, Matthew Charles and Michael Hinkson. Brother-in-law of Christine Hinkson and Paula Jn Charles. Uncle of Oliver and Roderick Hinkson, Shaquille Matthews, Anthony Jn. Charles, Alisha and Shaquan Ali, Damian Harewood, Javonne Bascombe, Rosemary Maloney (USA) Shantora Jordan (Canada), Faith and Mikala Hinkson and many others. Special friend of Lucien Maron (Canada), Shane Bishop, Delroy Williams Marignan (Guyana) and the late Ethelinda“sissy”Lynch. Cousin of Margaret Streaks and many others.

A service of thanksgiving will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at St.Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:00 noon on Friday. No mourning colours by special request.
