DAVID GORDON LEACOCK, aged 64, of Sheraton Park, Christ Church entered into rest on Friday April 7, 2023. Chairman and CEO of DGL Building Materials Solutions Inc, Director of Leo Leacock and Co Ltd, former Chairman of Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, Past President of Barbados Squash Club, Founding Member and Past President of Rotary Club of Barbados, South and former Director of Trident Insurance Company Limited.
Son of Marina and the late Cecil Leo Leacock.
Husband of Jennifer Angela Leacock.
Father of Daniella Leacock and Matthew Chin-Barnes.
Brother of Patricia Leacock-Ballish and Algernon Leacock.
Uncle of Alexandra, Melissa and Jonathan Leacock.
Cousin of Alice and Carol Daniel, Francine and Stephen Small, Paul Jones (deceased), Esther Jones, Lisle and Lorna Lynch, Marcia Leacock, Yvonne Thomas and several others.
Nephew of Jeffrey Small, Winfield Lynch, Harman Leacock, Frederick Jones, Victoria Small and Delores Daniel.
Son-in-law of Arnold and Greta Alleyne (deceased).
Brother-in-law of Sheila Leacock, Bradley Ballish, Cherry Alleyne and Jean-Louis Alleyne (deceased).
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barbados Association of Palliative Care Inc. will be graciously accepted at the service or via banking details:

I am very sorry about David’s passing. My sincere condolences to David’s wife, his children and the entire Leacock family!

David & I met when we were teenagers. He was always a gentleman and fun to be with. I’m glad he was happy and lived life to the fullest. R.I.P David 🙏🙏

from overseas.
