My old friend the Womble sorry to hear such shocking and unexpected sad news.
We met on the Master Brewers course in Birmingham in 1981 David filled the room and the atmosphere with big personality and fun, giggling and making us laugh with barely understandable humour, usually with a beer in hand. Last met in Barbados in 2019 with our wives and just before that in London during Covid which he had dealt with. A man we all loved. The anchor of our โboat raceโ team, unshockable and proud of his Womble nickname. His mango, condensed milk and Mountgay cocktails will never be bettered. God rest his soul. Heaven will be a happier place with him up there.
David was a generous and loving person with always a larger than life personality. Very sharp and witty, he always embraced everything he did with passion and great determination.
It was indeed very saddening and surprising to learn of David's passing. He is one of those persons who gave alot of his time to the region, and who will always be remembered for his big booming voice, hearty laugh and serious commentary all at the same time.
I really got to know David during my working years in St. Lucia. He gave good advice and we had many good times with his family. Only recently we spoke of getting together some of our children who had great times either fishing or playing on weekends and having fun.
Our family extends our deepest condolences to Denise and his children, his immefiate family and friends, and wish them continued strength during this very difficult period.
However our everlasting memories of a life richly lived with contributions not only to Barbados but the region as a senior executive in a major sector of our economies, will be some solice to his early passing. We say farewell to our good friend but not forgotten. May he rest in peace.

Saddened to hear that Dave has passed. I have the fondest memories of our time doing our Masters at the University of Birmingham back in the early 80โs. I was lucky enough to meet him again in Singapore in 2024 when he and Denise were travelling the world. We enjoyed reminiscing about our times in Birmingham and that amazing class of fellow students who were with us at that time. My thoughts and prayers go to Denise and all the family at this very difficult time. May Dave Rest in Eternal Peace๐๐.
My sincere condolences to Mrs. Denese Antrobus and the entire Antrobus family on the passing of their loved one David Antrobus. May his soul rest in eternal peace
My family join me in extending heartfelt condolences to Denise, Tiffany, Mercedes, Harry and Sebastian.
Antroโs death is a tragic one for us who knew him and benefited from his endearing spirit. He was always true to his friends and family, we will miss him dearly.
Rest in peace my brother, till we meet in the great beyond.
My deepest condolences to the entire family. I have nothing but good memories of David when I spent part of school vacation with his parents, his sister and him over the years. My heart goes out to the family at this tragic loss and pray that they will be comforted by the treasured memories spent in his presence. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Topic: Grieving Differently with COVID 19
In this Social Work Season 2021 of Love and Loss ... Sunday March 21 takes us to a place of 'Loss'
'Ubuntu' I am because We are standing on the foundation built by Social Worker Legends. Much of today is being built on COVID 19. It has caused much delayed grief, new funeral arrangements and new fears to enter a funeral home or to touch a loved one.
To take us through this COVID 19 Grieving differently is Mr. Peter Griffith, Funeral Director of Lyndhurst Funeral Home.
