PROVERBS โ€“ DEBORAH ODESSA, aged 76, of Philadelphia, USA entered into rest on September 28, 2024.
Daughter of the late Ruby and Victor Alleyne. Widow of the late Anthony Proverbs. Beloved mother of Carlos Alleyne. Mother-in-law of Imelda Alleyne. Sister of Esther, Clorinda, Rita, Theodora, Celestine, Eucharis, Timothy and Philip. Aunt of many. Daughter-in-law of Louise Proverbs and the immediate Proverbs family of Phinneys, St. Philip. Sister-in-law of Tassiea Bryan Alleyne, Adrian Howard, Victor Walkes, Joseph Kirkland and Court-of-Appeal Judge William Chandler. Special friend of Sam Atwell, Margaret Bourne and Barbara Fields.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Bank Hall Church of the Nazarene, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Thursday.
