DORCAS IMOJEAN HINKSON, age 92, of Wilson Hill, St. John and formerly of Cleavers Hill, St. Joseph, entered into rest on June 20, 2019.  Daughter of the late Orman and Vera Sarjeant. Wife of Joseph Oscar Hinkson. Mother of Elsa Downes (Former employee of CCB), Joseph McDonald Hinkson (former employee of BAMC), Juanita Hinkson (First Citizens Bank) and Lennox Hinkson (USA). Sister of Lindy Sarjeant and the late Quincy Sarjeant and Doreen Knight. Grandmother of Trudy, Kirk, Eric, Jefferson, Christopher, Melissa, Joshua, Tiffany, Teresa, Errol, Julia and Kelly.  Great-grandmother of 18. Aunt of Andre, Janelle and Brian Sarjeant. Sister-in-law of Vila and Vonnie Sarjeant. Relative of the Downes, Thorne, Herbert, Holder and Codrington families. Dear friend of Grafton Connell, Telma Phillips and many others. The funeral of Dorcas Imojean Hinkson leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, July 02, 2019 for Unity Wesleyan Holiness Church, Edgecliff, St. John, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for a home-going service. The cortege will then proceed to St. John Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The body of the late Dorcas Imojean Hinkson will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, July 01, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
