DR. SHELLY-ANN LATOYA COX, of Welchman Hall, St. Thomas, entered into rest on June 13, 2026. (Chief Fisheries Officer, Founder and CEO of Blue Shell Productions). A beloved mother, daughter, sister, family member, friend, colleague, and cherished member of her community.
Her life was one of service, strength, and remarkable impact. Whether through her professional contributions, her friendships, or the love she shared with her family, she will be remembered for her caring spirit, generous heart, and unwavering presence.

An Official Funeral for Dr. Shelly-Ann Cox will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 at The Wildey Gymnasium, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. The viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. You are invited to wear blue or any coastal colour in Shelly-Ann’s honour. The body of the late Dr. Shelly-Ann Cox will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Sunday July 12, 2026, from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, July 19th, all are invited to witness the candlelight Memorial and Ocean Tribute entitled: Sailing on the Wind of Her Legacy at 4:00 p.m. beginning at The Bridgetown Fisheries Complex.
