Edwin Alleyne

EDWIN DACOSTA ALLEYNE also known as “Pick-up” or “Roy”, aged 77, of 2nd Avenue Chapman Lane, St. Michael, entered peacefully into rest on July 23, 2025.
Son of the late Louis St. Clair Small (Briggs) and Estella Alleyne.
Father of Barry Hutson and Karen Alleyne.
Grandfather of Burrel Hutson and Kerricia Alleyne.
Brother of Livingstone, John and Gloria Alleyne, David and Juliet Squires, Juliette Creese and the late Andrew and Rita Alleyne, and Mary Duke.
Uncle of Angela, Sandra, Anthony, Fabian and Gladstone Alleyne and Kurt Marius.
Great-uncle of Kerry Alleyne, Tracey Farragut and Tatyana Agard.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Chapman Street Church of God, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Edwin Alleyne will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
