HUNTE – EDWIN PATRICK, of Whitehall, St. Michael, born on July 13, 1957 has regrettably entered into rest on January 15, 2023 at the age of 65. Loving son of the late Edwin DeCourcy and Daphne Vereta Hunte. Loving father of Sinclair Hunte. Beloved brother of Owen Hunte (dec’d), Judith Hunte, Ankhara Lloyd and Diane Hunte. Adored grandfather of Tejan Gabriel Hunte, Charday June Hunte and Sinclair Beven Hunte-Gervais. Cherished uncle of Nancy and Natasha Hunte, Owen Hunte Jr, Phylicia Joseph and Nia Fredrick. Highly regarded nephew of Henry Hunte (dec’d), Frank Hunte and Maggie Soyer (dec’d). Admired brother-in-law of Marcus Lloyd. Revered cousin of Eureka, Noel and Ian Hunte, Sandra (dec’d), Wallace (dec’d), Renny (dec’d), Roger, Siobhan and Wendy Soyer, Judy Carrington, Joanne Hunte, Marlene Nichols and others. Dear friend of Tyrone, Stephen, Merton, Andy, Aileen, Mary, Justina, Lucile, Joycee and many others. A graveside memorial service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
