EGBERT WILLIAM ROCK, affectionately known as “Rocky”, aged 82, of #16, Harmony Circle, Hothersal Turning #1, St. Michael, entered into rest on June 23, 2025.
Son of the late William Bishop and Elsie Rock.
Beloved Husband of Betty Armstrong-Rock.
Father of Pedro Armstrong, Annette Rock, Mavaline Powlett and Sheron Holder.
Grandfather of Kemar Holder-Edghill, Omar, Chad and Shane Powlett, Akeem Holder, Amber and Ethan Armstrong.
Brother of Seymour, Kayrene and Winston Rock, Marion Bishop, the late Henderson Rock, and Cheryl (Rock) Boyer.
Uncle of Barry, Damian, Omar, Keisha, Kaysha, Lisa, Troy, Dana, Roselle, Shawn, Jerry, Ali, Kim and Sasha.
Father-in-Law of Randolph Powlett, Geisel Vega Gonzalez and Gregory Harding.
Brother-in-law of Monica, Shiela, Hazel, Horace, Michael Armstrong, Josalene, Darnley, Jeffrey and Freda Browne, Veronica and Esther Rock.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on, Friday, July 11, 2025, at Cyprian Anglican Church, Belleville, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge for the interment. The body of the late Egbert Rock will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Friday.
