GRIFFITH– ELRITA CELESTINE, affectionately known as “Rita”, aged 91, late of Wiltshire Avenue, Near Bayfield, St. Philip, entered into rest on February 17, 2020.
Mother of Henderson, Colleen and Cesil Franklyn, Joycelyn Cox, Celia Mayers, Glovana John and Clodean Francois. Grandmother of Aaron and Kerry-ann Mason, Kevin Franklyn, Natalie Mayers-Aymes, Stephanie Gibbons, Justin Carrington, Steven and Michael John, Anthony and Tiffany Francois. Great-grandmother of 13. Mother-in-law of Sydney Mayers, Jeffrey Carrington and Carlisle John. Aunt of Carl Franklyn, Marva Forde, Anthea Staples, Eleanor Lorde and Kenneth Arthur.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Monday, March 02, 2020, at St. Catherine Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service and interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12 noon on Monday. The body of the late Elrita Celestine Griffith will repose in The Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, on Sunday, March 01, 2020 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
