ESTHER THERESA STEAD late of Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church and formerly of the United Kingdom, entered into rest on December 20, 2022. Member of Mizpeh Church.
Wife of Lingwood Stead.
Mother of Michael, Annette, Joanna and Cherie Stead and Michelle Stead-Thomas.
Grandmother of Lacey Baker, Leah Mae and Jorai Thomas.
Great-grandmother of Kara and Devon Baker.
Sister of Evelyn and Whitfield Jackman.
Aunt of many.
Relative of the Jackman, Russell, Bayley, Miller, Steede, Gaines, Howard and Bascombe families.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service, followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Esther Stead will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.

To Brother Stead and his family. May the Lord Jesus, by His Holy Spirit comfort you all at this painful time of your loss of a wife mother grandmother and great grandmother (👑Esther Stead👑) to all children as she served as a midwife all those years ago in the NHS.
My wife and I send our condolences to Brother Stead & family. May God continue to comfort you all. Being with JESUS in all eternity is the best REST ever.
