GARFIELD BERESFORD SAVOURY, affectionately known as ‘Uncle John John’ or ‘Garry’, age 81 of 1st Avenue Grazettes, St. Michael and formerly of Coles Road, Merricks, St. Philip entered into rest on July 19, 2023.
Husband of the late Elise Savoury nee Alleyne.
Brother of Marlene Savoury (Canada), the late Armintha Clarke, Allan, George and Miriam Savoury.
Uncle of Kenville Savoury, Colin Clarke, Sheila Stuart, Ione and Stephanie Clarke, Miriam Harewood, Henderson and Anderson Savoury, Wade Savoury (Canada) and Sharon Lessey (USA).
The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 for Ragged Point Wesleyan Holiness Church, Content Cot, Coles, St. Philip where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service. The cortège will then proceed to Bushy Park Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The body of the late Garfield Savoury will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
