HUSBANDS NÉE RILEY – GENETHA ROSETTA, better known as ‘Brenda’ of #2 College Savannah, St. John and formerly of Pond Road Stratford, UK entered peacefully into rest at the age of 71. Retired School Nurse Assistant for The National Health Service (UK).
Daughter of the late George Howard and Lucille Riley. Beloved Wife of Ronald Husbands. Mother of Pamela Haynes, Janette Pierre and Lorraine Husbands (all of the UK), Andrew and Darren Husbands (both of Australia). Grandmother of Robert Brathwaite, Kemar and Joshua Husbands, Fabian and Montell Boyde and Patrece Haynes (all of the UK), Akil and Zia Husbands, Tilly Whittington and Yemi Husbands (all of Australia). Great grandmother of Raya and Faith (both of the UK). Sister of the late Ann and Jeffrey Riley. Beloved Cousin of many from the UK and in Barbados.
The funeral of the late Genetha Rosetta Husbands leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Thursday, October 15, 2020 for St. John Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to St. John Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home, no later than 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Please be advised that all COVID restrictions will be observed.
