WARD – GEORGE LIVINSGTON, age 96, better known as “Livi” of Wellcare Nursing Home and formerly of Ellerslie Gap, Black Rock, St. Michael, Birmingham England and 214 Pearclose Union, St. Philip entered into rest on January 27, 2023. Son of the late Clement and Adina Ward. Husband of the late Sylvia Ward. Father of George Holloway (USA), Lucille Byneo, Gloria Campbell, Claudette Holloway, Marcia Ward, Graham Ward (Canada), Patsy and Deborah Ward (England). Grandfather of Louise, Claire, Camilo, Jared, Maria, Mark, Rachel, Natalie, Duane, Michael, Sharon, George, Allison, Carl, Daenah and Avery. Great-grandfather of 21. Father-in-law of Ruth, Gay, Clifton and Orlando. Brother of the late Heldon Ward, Grantley Thornton and Chesterfield Payne. Cousin of Elaine Grant (USA). Friend of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Belle, Mr. and Mrs. Forde, Judy, Myrtle and Janice Small, Diana Durant, Clifton Alleyne, Bromley Gordon, Virginia Brathwaite, Peter and Golda Holligan, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Clarke, Andrea Mayers, Sophia Shalow, Dr. Bronwen Glasford, Chris’anne, Mr. and Mrs Pridee, Marguerite and Quinzel Herbert, the Goddard and Grant families, the staff of Wellcare Nursing Home and many others. A thanksgiving service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
