GLORIA DELCINA GARNETT (née DOWNES), aged 78 years of No.41 Allens Land, Clevedale Road, Black Rock, St Michael (formerly of Marine Square, Lower Westbury Road, St. Michael). Retired Senior Officer, Barbados Postal Service and former primary school teacher.
Daughter of the late Milicent and Charles Deighton Downes
Sister of the late Lynda Brewster, Marie Downes, Doris Holmes, Dorothy Allsopp, Cameron (Kenneth) Brewster, Ralph Downes and Denville (Peter) Downes.
Aunt of Andrew and Peterson Downes, Yvette Downes, Andrew and Anthony Brewster, Veronica, Angela, Jennifer, Charles and Leon Allsopp, Debra, Carol-ann and others.
Sister-in-law of the late Eddie Holmes, Iona Downes and Maria Brewster.

A service of thanksgiving for the late Gloria Delcina Garnett will be held on Friday, May 08, 2020 at James Street Methodist Church, where the immediate relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions of a maximum of 20 mourners to be in attendance, the funeral service will be available on live stream here.
A preview will take place on Thursday, May 07, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel of Lyndhurst Funeral Home.
