GLORIA ANGELA SPRINGER, also known as “Oh-Oh’ aged 59, of London Bourne Towers, Bay Street, St. Michael, entered into rest on April 24, 2023. Custodian with the Ministry of Health and Wellness from 2018.
Daughter of the late Eugene Springer and Orrie Lynch.
Sister of Elizabeth (Betty) of the USA, George, Don and Michael Springer and Coral Kellman. She is predeceased by Joyce, Brenda and Jacky Springer.
Niece of Audrey Merritt
Aunt of Vernette, John, Yolande and many more.
Cousin of Ian and Brenda Merritt, Maureen and Marcia Goodman.
Godmother of Kishmar and Tia.
Friend of Andrea (Brown), Oneil, Virgie, Althea, Pearl, Peggy, Trevor, the Watkins and Greene families, Chester, Tara, Samantha, Sherrie, David, Wendy and many more too numerous to mention.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Ebenezer Gospel Tabernacle where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service. The body of the late Gloria Springer will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Mourning colours are optional. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barbados Cancer Support Society. Special thanks to Dr. Akoogee, Dr. C. Walker, nurses of C12 and A3, Maj. J. Greenidge, Col. A. Branch and Pastor T. Lawrence.
