PROVERBS – GLYNE PATRICK, aged 86, of Brighton, Black Rock, St. Michael, entered into rest on December 27, 2025.

Husband of the late Anita Proverbs. Father of John and Stephen Proverbs.
Father-in-law of Timmi King-Proverbs. Grandfather of Renée, Ray-Allan, Rachele, Anya and Kai Proverbs and Shani King. Great-grandfather of Jasmine, Caleb, Jaxon, Alaia, and Kinsey. Brother of Joel and Vincent Proverbs (Both of Australia), Jean Huff and Ena Clark (Both of the U.S) and the late Jeffrey and Gordon Proverbs. Dad of Jean Proverbs. Uncle of many. Close friend of Bernard, Tyrone Alleyne and Danny Debidin. A service of thanksgiving will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at The Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m., followed by a private cremation. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Barbados Association of Palliative Care would be graciously accepted. The body of the late Glyne Proverbs will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
