Deepest condolences to the family during this difficult time.. Saying goodbye is never easy even when knowing that the departed is now in Jesus’s loving embrace.
Uncle Harold was a meaningful part of my school years and I spent many an afternoon at the Deanery with his daughters. Later on her gave martial counseling and then officiated at my wedding in 1986.
The angels have increased their ranks. Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Saul-Piper & Family.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family, relatives, colleagues and friends of the late Dean Emeritus Harold Critchlow who transitioned to his new life on June 22, 2025.
Dean Critchlow was my French teacher and Cadet Officer at his alma mater, Combermere School. He was a disciplinarian during his teaching days (and as Earl Newton had remarked, during his days in sixth form), but was a warm and engaging conversationalist when he became a full time priest. He was a fearless social commentator and lifelong learner. We had several engaging conversations on economic and social matters and it was clear that he had a deep concern for the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the society. His voice on such matters has been silent in recent years but his legacy will live on. Up and On my fellow Combermerian. You have fulfilled your tasks with us and your talents are needed elsewhere. Bon voyage.
