Daughter of the late Reginald and Vilma Carter.
Mother of Sarah-Jane Brathwaite and Anderson Tunde Carter-Griffith.
Grandmother of Malik Brathwaite.
Sister of Rosalin “Rosie” Holder, Kenneth Carter, Marva Greene and Monica Patricia Harris.
Mother-in-law of Marvin Brathwaite and Marie Carter-Griffith.
Aunt of eight.
Cousin of many.
Friend of many.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on, Monday, July 28, 2025, at The Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Tranquility Lawns for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Bus transportation will be provided from Flat Rock and Charles Rowe Bridge at 12:45 p.m. The body of the late Hetty Erlinda Griffith will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lynd-hurst Funeral Home on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
