Huw Ferdinand

DR. HUW BRIAN FERDINAND
27TH MAY 1963 – 28TH AUGUST 2022

Brian entered into rest peacefully on Sunday 28th August at 3:15 p.m. He is survived by Liz, his wife of 22 years and Lester, his only brother, Ashley (his niece) and Nate (his nephew). He was the son of David and Veda Ferdinand (both deceased).
An avid golfer, swimmer, squash and tennis player, cricketer, Brian also had a passion for music, being part of a band in his early adult years. He would engulf himself in music videos every chance he got. He was also academically brilliant, having won a scholarship to attend college overseas.
Born in the UK, but grew up in Barbados, Brian went on to further his studies at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, then to Medical school in Jamaica where he achieved his MBBS.
He absolutely loved going to church and immersed himself in prayer a great deal. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Community and also St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Till we meet again.
Dry your tears and don’t cry if you love me; your smile is my peace. (Henry Scott Holland)
