HAREWOOD – IRVIN ISAAC, aged 92, also known as “Tantune” or “Ta” of Lot 5 Clevedale Development, Black Rock, St. Michael entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Former Employee of Roberts Manufacturing, Frank B Armstrong and Sanitation Service Authority.
Son of the late Adella Elizabeth Harewood née Cruise and Henry Harewood. Husband of the late Muriel Harewood. Father of Ann Harewood JP, Ordeen Ellis, Juliet Harewood (USA), Issac Harewood (USA), Carlos Harewood (NHC) and Sherry-Anne Harewood (BWA), the late Orville, Adella and Charmaine Harewood. Grandfather of Disherid Franklyn-Harewood, Simone Harewood, Shakira Harewood, Tricia Kellman, Thia Harewood, Miguel Leacock, Ahkim Simmons and many others. Great-grandfather of Tristen King and many others. Uncle of Winston Griffith, Leonard Harewood, Phyllis Fagan, Idalia Damas (USA) Dorita Chase (USA), Jennifer Applewaite (USA) and David Harewood (USA), Carl Franklyn, Jones, Smith, Harewood family and many others. Father-in-law of Paula and Diane Harewood. Friend of Norma Holder, Ronald Griffith, Michael Skeete, Kathy Ann President and many others.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at St. Stephen Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to be meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Irvin Isaac Harewood will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, August 04, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
