IVAN LLEWELLYN CROOKENDALE affectionately known as “Cou Cou”, “Fatman” and “Perkins”, late of Wood Dale, Taitt Hill, St. George entered to rest on November 30, 2025.
Dear son of the late Herbert St. Clair and Eileen Odessa Crookendale.
Cherished father of Darwin, Margaret (Senior Public Health Inspector) and Eulene Crookendale (Hipac Limited).
Beloved brother of Elizabeth Burrowes (CIBC Caribbean Bank), Manley and Mencea Crookendale and the late Mignon Waterman.
Loving grandfather of Catreena Moseley, Antonio and Antoinette Selman, Dr. Mariska Griffith, Mikael Griffith and Mikhaela Small (both of the Barbados Defense Force), Darren and Darion King (Scotiabank), Mario and Marion Crookendale.
Great-grandfather of ten.
Uncle of Sonia and Alvin Waterman, Dr. Petra Crookendale, Paula, Jean-Marc, Matthew and Jaleel Crookendale, Dr Akilah Burrowes, Asha and Andaiye Burrowes.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025 at the Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Ivan Crookendale will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday December 19, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
