Ivy Welch

WELCH (nee McCallister), – IVY MAY, aged 100, of Crick Hill, Upper Weston, St James and formerly of 26 Francis Road, Stechford, Birmingham, England passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 23rd February 2025.
Daughter of the late Edmund McCallister and Ethel Belgrave of Weston St James.
Beloved wife of the late Oswald Clairmonte Welch.
Mother of Edsil, Reuel, Wilfred and Andrew.
Grandmother of Madeline, Shaun, Joseph, Jordan, Courtnii, Kirsty, Lauren, Reece, Munir, Nabil, Naim and Aisha.
Great grandmother of Khiivah, E’ayviarna, Jayden, Renea, Luca, Safiyya, Sara, Maria and Samayyah.
Sister of Conrad, Ira, Hilda, Geraldine and Naomi.
She had many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

A memorial service celebrating and remembering the life of Ivy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday the 2nd April 2025 at The Garden Church of God, Reid Gap, St James, followed by the interment at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St Peter. The body of the late Ivy May Welch will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
