DRAYTON – JAMES THEODORE, aged 95, of Croton Close, Union, St. Philip entered into rest on September 16, 2024. Former chorister of Holy Trinity Church, St. Philip.

Former husband of Kathleen Drayton (UK). Father of Carl, Erma, Vincent and Philip Drayton, Juliette Willoughby (all of the UK), Monica Boyce and Angela Waithe. Grandfather of David, Adrian, James, Jade and Finley Drayton, Dean and Ryan Willoughby (all of the UK), Owen and Mark Boyce of Australia. Father-in-law of Julie and Pauline Drayton. Brother of Wilma Holder and the late Ivy, Eureka, Alma, Colton, Cecil and the Rev. Eric Drayton. Uncle of Monica Drayton Worrell, Corine Drayton, Gail Drayton (USA), Ryan and Jeal Paul Drayton and Sherryann Hope. Relative of the Drayton, Brathwaite, Weekes and Best families.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Martin’s Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late James Drayton will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
