Son of the late Christopher and Verena Maynard.
Husband of Ophenia Maynard.
Father of David Gooding, Sharon Burke, Sonja Griffith, Roger, Ronnie, Maurice and Nicholas Maynard.
Grandfather of Chanel, Kyle, Kristen, Deanna, Liana, Cherish, Tiffani-Amber, Joy, Tiffany, Brittiney, Brianca, Nadia, Jewel, Brielle, Nathan and Nicos.
Great-grandfather of ten.
Father-in-law of Heather and Jolie Maynard.
Brother-in-law of Brenda Harewood.
Brother of Muriel Inniss (deceased).
Uncle of Myrtle Gall, Ianthe Hines and Allene Masters (deceased).
Great-uncle of Kenneth Gall and others.
Godfather of Donna Harewood and Rudy Maynard.
Relative of Vivian Maynard, David Harewood, the Maynard, Lord, Waldron and Roach families. Friend of Lynette Maynard, Victor Gittens and family, the late Philric Selman and family, New Dawn Nursing Home and others too numerous to mention.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Beulah Methodist Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to the Bushy Park Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late James Maynard will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
