Daughter of Gloria Griffith and the late Samuel Griffith.
Sister of Patsy, Sylvester, Andrea, Victor, Florene, Susan and Sheen.
Aunt of Janelle, Simone, Dr Alana, Vicky, Saashen, Saqen, Victor Jr., Brandon, Antonio, Darisa, Anthony, Hasani, and Jamila.
Great aunt of Dr Imani, Kenya, Oya, Akeem, Akobi, Kairo and Zane.
Niece of David, Winfield, St. Clair, and Joseph Griffith, Gloria Yarde, Lolita Sargeant, Plimmer Bluestein, Velda Howell, and the late Gertude Alleyne.
Cousin of the Griffith, Gill, and Watson families.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Sanctuary Empowerment Center, Country Road, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the cremation. No flowers by special request. The body of the late Janice Griffith will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Sincere condolences to Janice's family. I worked with Janice at the Nation and though we were in different departments we spoke often. She was fearless in her role as a reporter and very proud of her work. I pray that God will strengthen those who mourn her death.
