JANICE ROSETTA CUMMINS, aged 64, of Bonaire Lane, Cave Hill, St. Michael, entered into rest on June 6, 2026. Former employee of Barbados Steel Works Limited and former member of The Barbados Rifle and Pistol Federation Inc.
Mother of Marcus Cummins and Tonya Cummins.
Grandmother of Sanayah Cummins.
Daughter of the late Violet Welch.
Sister of Beverley Archer, Jeffrey Welch, Hal Welch and the late Steven Welch.
Aunt of Michelle Neil, Carol-Ann Archer, deceased Shane Archer, Kimberley Taylor (formerly Welch), Jumoke Marshall, Jomo Marshall, JemmakaiMarshall (of the USA), Ambokile Welch, Asukile Welch, Azziza Welch and Abeba Welch.
Niece of the late Dr. Ena Walters, PhD and Cuthbert Walters.
Sister-in-law of Sheryl Welch, Mitchinson Archer and Angela Hinds.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2026, at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. In Janice’s honour, a donation will be collected during the service and will be presented to a charity dear to her. The body of the late Janice Cumminswill repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
