May God give the Harper family all the comfort they need at this time when we remember the wonder that is John's legacy. Such a pleasant personality, such a perfect example, such a loss to us all.

Ivor and I send our condolences to the Harper family. We knew John for many years and admired his faith, courage and resilience. He has been an example to many through his illness. May God grant the family peace and comfort. Sorry we can't be there.

My deepest sympathies to the Harper family, especially to Edward's (Eddie's) mother, to Thomas and to Gregory. We all sang as choristers in the St. Michael's Cathedral Male choir, under the direction of John Fletcher, 1975/76-1980/81. May he rest in peace.
