John MacKenzie

John David Straghan Mackenzie, late of Bartletts, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, entered peacefully into rest at his residence on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born at Dalney, Maxwell, Christ Church on April 14, 1933. He was the CEO and Chairman of Ansa Mcal Barbados Limited before his retirement in 1998.
Son of Charles and Winston MacKenzie (nee Cole).
Brother of Douglas Mackenzie and Bonnie Montagu and the late Ron and Neil MacKenzie.
Husband of the late Anne MacKenzie (née Bayley).
Father of Susan Lloyd and Harry MacKenzie.
Grandfather of Stephanie and Patrick Lloyd and James and William MacKenzie.
Uncle of Ron and John MacKenzie and Barbara Mahler, David MacKenzie, Karen MacKenzie-Brydon and Laura MacKenzie-Callow, Alex, Charles, Robert, Marcia MacKenzie and Michael Montagu.
Friend of many.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving was held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael. The cortege proceeded to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. ; please view link here here
