Judith Myrando Jarvis nee Harris, better known as “Reds” or “Mrs. J”, of 4th Ave, New Orleans, Westbury Road, St. Michael entered into rest on September 14, 2016. Daughter of the late Loretta (Doris) Harris and Athelbert Brown.Widow of the late Robin Jarvis. Mother of Heather Grant (UK), Ricardo, Ian and Jacqueline Jarvis, Sharon Best and Whitnall. Grandmother of Jasmine, Adriene, Ricardo, Darren, Tamara, Breanna and Shamieka. Sister of Athelbert (Larkman) Harris, Joseph Harris and the late Arleigh and Patrica Harris. Mother-in-law of Anderson Best and Caroline Jarvis. Aunt of Kenrick Harris and many more. Friend of Martin Philips, Hilda Best, Cherryann Cadogan, Ann Watkins, Wendy, Heather, Gabby, Dennis, Patsy, Esther, the Wharton and Watkins family and many more. The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Thursday, September 29, 2016, for St. Leonard’s Church, Westbury Road, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service and interment. In lieu of flowers, a collection for the St. Leonard’s and Salvation Army Feeding Program will be taken. It has been requested by the family that no mourning colours be worn.
