LASONTA ANITA CORBIN BOLANOS, aged 74, of Hillside Terrace, Whitehall, St. Michael, entered into rest on May 07 2021. She was a Queens College Alumnus, Past Treasurer and President of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Association, Past Secretary and Director of the Barbados National Organization for the Disabled (BARNOD) and Past Director of the Barbados Council for the Disabled.
Daughter of the late Dorothy Walkes née Corbin.
Wife of Felipe Bolanos Manchado.
Mother of Maria Bolanos Williams and Roberto Bolanos Corbin.
Grandmother of Joseph Williams IV and Thomas Williams.
Sister of Murray “Hun” Corbin.
Mother-in-law of Joseph Williams III.
Niece of Gloria O’Neale.
Cousin of Janice Brathwaite, Carl and Steve Corbin, Antonia O’Neale-Dorne, David and Pamela O’Neale.
Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Dear friend of many.
Mentor to Rosemary Harding and family, Selma and Johnathan Bryan.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, for relatives and close friends. Mourning colours are optional. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Association and BARNOD would be greatly appreciated. The body of the late Lasonta Corbin Bolanos will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
