Daughter of Elma Lashley and the late St. Clair Alleyne. Mother of Gary and Kim Lashley and Kevin Clarke (USA). Grandmother of Chenea Waithe, Jelani and Devin Clarke (USA). Great-grandmother of Chloe and Christian Clarke (USA). Mother-in-law of Juan Waithe-Lashley. Sister of Coreen, Barbara and Glenfield Lashley, Charles Massiah and Reginald Lynch. Aunt of Robert, Andre, Kim and Rashida Lashley. Niece of Joyce, Undeen and Wilton Lashley and family. Cousin of Roslyn (USA), Maureen, Adrian, Michael Ricky Lashley, Jacqueline Hope, Avis Carter (USA) and Grace Lashley. Relative of the Lashley, Clarke, Alleyne, Waithe and Crichlow families. Friend of Marlene Bishop, Cheryl Small, Ingrid and Kenrick Thornhill.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m., followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The body of the late Laureen Merlyn Lashley-Clarke will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

To Laureen's mother Elma, and family. We know now that she is at peace; we all appreciate the time she spent with us and are thankful. We shall remember her as she usually was - a beautiful and charming person. My sincere sympathy to all.
