LEOTTA LOVELL also known as Baby Skeete aged 99, of Hope Road, Orange Hill, St. James entered peacefully into rest on February 18, 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Devoted member of The Orange Hill Christian Mission Church.

Daughter of the late Eldica and Cornelius Skeete.
Wife of the late George Lovell.
Mother of Corene Lovell-Alleyne and Elsa Edwards.
Step Mother of Jackie Slater.
Grandmother of Selwin and Neville Lovell of (Barbados Prison Service), Ryan Lovell of (Barbados Fire Service), Theresa Ward of (Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Third Sector), Melissa Griffith of (Business Barbados), Jason Lovell of (Barbados Energy and Sugar Company), Romaine Lovell of (Ultra Cool Inc.) and Shakira Edwards of (The Deli, Shell Gas Station).
Great Grandmother of twelve (12).
Aunt of Janette Browne, Denis and Juny Skeete of USA.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Orange Hill Christian Mission Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Leotta Lovell will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
