CROOKENDALE – LESTER, also known as “Boogie”, late of Macaroni Village, St. George entered into rest on July 01, 2020. Member of the St. Jude’s Men Fellowship. Son of the late Mildred Crookendale-Holligan and Douglas Holligan. Brother of Judy Crookendale-Millar, Anthony and Ronald Crookendale and the late Margaret Brewster. Uncle of Tanya Millar-Broome, Shawn Crookendale, Joyann Ingram, Curtis McColin, Anthony and David Brewster, Petra Rudder and others. Relative of Trevor Kirton, Monica Holmes, Karen Batson, Karol Chambers, Nicole Alleyne, the Crookendale, Holligan, Thorne and Stuart families and the late Ermine Holmes. Friend of Errol Parris, Frederick Glasgow, Glendine Deane, the Macaroni Village and Todds Community. The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 for St. Jude’s Anglican Church, St. Jude’s, St. George, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service and interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The body of the late Lester Crookendale will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. The family invites you to view the service via live streaming at www.facebook.com/lyndhurstfunerals.
