I am very honored and blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Shaw for many years. What a gracious, thoughtful and caring Friend she was. I shall cherish my many great memories of her always...her gentle laugh and that mischievous twinkle in her eyes will forever be in implanted in my mind when I think of her. She always had that special way of making me feel like I was Family.

My sincere condolences to Virginia, Diane, Alan and all of the "wonderful" Shaw Family on the loss of such an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

No guest in the Shaw household could fail but to be impressed by the warmth of welcome, as Les would burst in the door to greet Lois with his signature greeting: โ€œ put another potato in the pot Motherโ€! โ€œWeโ€™ve got companyโ€! So many good times with the Shaw family, return in a rush, at sad times like this, on the golf course , out at sea, high holidays and feast days, as well as the somber occasions when so gracious and generous a lady, as Lois takes her leave.
Not to be soon forgotten . John and Linda

As we reminisce about the good times we had together, our thoughts are of a kind and beautiful soul who brought calm and poise to every occasion.
Lois' passing will be felt by the extended family, but also by her friends and acquaintances.

She was a rock for Les and the perfect partner in a life filled with challenge and change.
