Suggie brought life to a party. When we needed extra plates, pots or pans, she made them available to us. She taught us the song 'rum and coca cola' and the history of the lyrics. She was very religious and kind to everyone she met. Even Sparkles was happy to live with her and be around where there were ample offerings from her plate...

We have so many memories and pictures to remind us of the good times we had with your mom. Our sincere sympathy to all of you.

Condolences to the entire family of Maggie Edghill. How wonderful is God's word at Isaiah 25: 8.
In that verse, God promises to swallow up death forever. Also Revelation 21: 4 reminds us that the time will come when pain, mourning and death will be no more. We can trust in God's promises.

We were sad to hear the news of your mother's passing and thank you, Annabelle, for the call to let us know. Although we would like to attend the service both of us will be away next week (Winnipeg and Sudbury). Although we cannot be there we shall be thinking of you and your mom.

A distinct pleasure of my time in Barbados was, after a long day at work, to spend an hour or so in the evening on the veranda with your mother (and your dad) and the inevitable stream of family, neighbours and friends that always seemed to come by. Your mother was a treasure trove of stories about earlier times in Barbados and (sing-songs). I don't believe Garden Road 1 will ever be the same.

I hope they have a veranda and a comfortable chair ready for her.
