Marjorie Anita Layne, age 91 years of Arthur Seat St. Thomas. Retired Senior Tutor of the School of Nursing, entered peacefully into rest on Sunday 10th May, 2026.
Beloved sister of the late Edward Layne and Maisie Layne; beloved aunt of Peter & Resa Layne, great-aunt of Arianna Layne; sister-in-law of Pat Layne; cousin of Marguerite Phillips; Angela Wilkinson, Patricia Hinds, Junior Boyce and several others. Friend of the Holder and Waithe families of Near Sharon, St. Thomas; Gloria Skeete, Velma Sealy, Carnetta Inniss, and Heather Beckles. The funeral of the late Marjorie Anita Layne leaves the Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road St. Michael on Wednesday 27th May 2026 for the Sharon Moravian Church, St. Thomas where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9:30 a.m. for the service and interment. Wreaths may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
