DOWNIE – MARKSON MARCANNA, better known as “I am Sandals” of Brighton, Black Rock, St. Michael entered into rest on August 10, 2021.
Son of Jonathan and Millicent Downie-Bloomer. Adopted Son of Anita Proverbs. Grandson of the late Rev. Michael and Jasmine Downie. Brother of Matthew, Vincent, Virnette and Aimey Bloomer, John and Stephen Proverbs. Cousin of Renée, Ray-Allan, Rachele, Anya, Shani and Kai Proverbs. Relative of the Downie, Proverbs and Bloomer families.
The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Friday, August 20, 2021 for Westbury Cemetery, Thomas Gap, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the graveside service. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Friday. No mourning colours by special request. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Markson Marcanna Downie will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
