Mother of Gloria Chapman, Herman Joseph, Betty Greene, Albertine Joseph, Rita Joseph-Strachan
and the late Patricia Joseph. Grandmother of Shondell Joseph, Brad Brathwaite, Runako Griffith, Jamila Joseph, Ayo Alkins, Brittney Strachan, Thea Griffith and Elijah Strachan. Great-grandmother of ten. Mother-in-law of Victor Chapman, Cyril Greene and Royon Strachan. Sister of Monica Charles, Frankie Joseph and eight deceased others. Sister-in-law of Mr. Benedict Charles, Marie Joseph, the Nelson family and others in UK and St. Lucia. Relative of the Charles, Charlemagne, Joseph, Nelson, Brathwaite, Popo, Florenville, Bancroft, Harewood, Tyson, Webster and Pierre families. Friend of Merica, Tata, Austins, Helaria, Philippa and Marjorie.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Power in the Blood Assembly, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. The body of the late Mary Elizabeth Joseph will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00p.m.
