MELANIE JOY PATRICE WATTS, CPA, age 36, of Maxwell Gardens, Christ Church, transitioned on March 12, 2021. Finance Officer of Massy United Insurance, Consultant at Brisbane Consulting Inc, Founding member of the Caribbean Brain Train and former Board member and Director of Business Development of the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals. Former 1st Violinist of the Barbados National Youth Orchestra, Member of the Barbados Bike Hash House Harriers and Salsa Caribe Dance Group.
Daughter of Patricia Watts and Norman Howard.
Niece of Hartley Watts (United Kingdom) and Flora Watts (Canada).
Cousin of Mandisa, Kip and Trae Watts (Canada), Ebony Watts (UK), Gillian Holder (UWI), Mary Tudor and Keeley Holder (Ministry of Agriculture).
Relative of the Rudder and Howard families.

However, the family invites you to view the live streaming on Friday, April 09, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Melanie Joy Patrice Watts will repose in the Abundant Life Assembly on Friday, April 09, 2021 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. No mourning colours by special request. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Barbados Trailway, a project of the Future Center Trust—to create a paved bicycle and pedestrian path located primarily on right-of-way lands of the former Barbados Railway.
