Son Of the late Gloria Haynes and Fitzgerald Freeman. Husband of the late Sheila Catwell-Wood. Father of Grieg Howard and Jermaine Catwell. Stepfather of Fernando, Antonio, Francine and Anthony. Grandfather of Khalid and Khalyka Catwell, Jamaine Barnes and Keira Tull. Brother of Keith and Charles Wood, Tony, Earlene, Peter, St. Clair and Simon Haynes, Everton and Reynold, the late Joan Batson, Paul and Angela Haynes. Cousin of June Wood and many others. Uncle of Sophia, Lisa, and many others. Great uncle of many. Relative of the Wood and Haynes family. Friend of Vernold D. Lewis, Neil Cooper-Lewis, Derlwyn Wilkinson, Johnice and Patricia Greene, Michael Graham and many more.
A service of thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Mount Olive Holy Temple, Grosvenor Road, St. Michael, where friends and relatives are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. The body of the late Michael Ignatius Wood will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 09, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
