Monica, a dear friend and a former school colleague at Alexandra school has left me with a beautiful phrase " Put God First!"
She was a family driven person and loved life fiercely. It was a joyful time when on my return to Barbados from Toronto on an annual basis, Betty and I would join Monica for lunch and truly enjoy every minute of our togetherness.
With love and in the light of her sweet smile I know she will rest peacefully with her served God.
I say, with sadness, and a degree of comfort, sleep peacefully, my friend.

I met Monica at church, Full Gospel Assembly and because of her personality, she became my friend.
When I met my husband (Pastor Basil Yarde) she was the only one I told. When he was in Bible School and he sent me a letter, she was the only one that read them.
Time went by and one day she said, you donโ€™t let me tead the letters anymore! I said you read the friendship letters but I canโ€™t let you read the love letters and we both laughed.
I got married, life ask so much of us! I was in a different church, became a mother, took care of my parents โ€ฆ life got busy and gradually we were out of touchโ€ฆ my fault..

Monica was very friendly, she liked a good laugh and thatโ€™s why we became friends. Monica was my friend, she was a good person.
To Paula and the rest of the family, please accept my condolences๐Ÿ’
