Grief is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give and cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump of your throat, and the hollow part in your chest. Grief is love with no place to go.

My heart goes out to my dear cousins: Billy, Betty, Opal, Edward, Elva on the passing of your beautiful mother. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. I knew your mother from the time I was a little girl, she was always a loving and happy person, always smiling and I know you can only have one mother she’s at peace now.

My love goes out to all of you. Time is a great healer
